In quiet and tranquil air, Arashiyama-mountain stands by Togetsukyo (Moon Crossing Bridge) in western country of Kyoto, where “Arashiyama Rex Condominium” is located.

Like living in country,old renovated 2LDK was re-renovated to allow spending country life and days away from usual day by installing moveable partition,which makes it possible to stay comfortable as one opened spacious rooms : living room and playing room,and which also allows to stay as SOHO office,such non-dwelling use.

Design concept

Wa:harmony is typical concept of Kyoto in Japan,and added modern and tranquil atmosphere to it .Especially the partitions were designed with image of Moon over Togetsukyo (Moon Crossing Bridge) and become main symbol for this condominium. Kazari-dana(display shelves) and its 2.3m is special and valuable height among average houses. Powder room was designed based on Wa,which was covered with pine woods adding warm and natural touch of North European flavor for women.
